Michael began his career with top-tier mid-century modern furniture and decorative art galleries in New York City. Some of his work included researching and cataloging inventory and verifying authenticity and provenance for auction houses. Relocating to Naples in 2015, he became Gallery Director at J.A. Willy Gallery and art consultant at Sheldon Fine Art. He considers his area of expertise in pedigree furniture and decorative art of the 20th century.
An accomplished artist himself, Michael has designed one-of-a-kind contemporary furniture, lighting and sculpture, utilizing unique materials. He has been commissioned by architects and designers to fabricate unique pieces that show his meticulous attention to detail. Much of his work has been sold to celebrities and collectors.
One of Michael's lamp designs was featured in an interior in Elle Decor magazine in 2014.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and marketing from Miami University of Ohio.
Michael and his wife, Emily, recently welcomed their first child, Ellis.
