Chamchuri, also known as Rain Tree or Monkey Pod, is a tropical tree species (Samanea saman) native to Central and South America, now widely cultivated in tropical regions around the world. In Thailand, it is a popular tree for both ornamental and practical uses, with its wood being highly valued for craftsmanship and furniture making.
