Robert Kalapacs

Rob's background is quite diverse. Born in Australia to Hungarian parents, he spent time living in Europe before his formative years in Toronto, Canada. After moving to New Jersey he earned his BA from Rutgers University in NJ.

On a personal note, Rob has been married for 28 years and has three children, a dog, and three cats. Professionally, his career has been centered around sales and management. Early on, he was with a multiple family investment firm with holdings from Delaware to Massachusetts, eventually becoming a partner before venturing out independently.

Since moving to Florida he shifted his passion for modern design and living to the furniture industry, becoming a Certified Designer and now shares his enthusiasm for modern style at Scan Design, Tampa.
